The location was great - within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. The staff was outstandingly accommodating and incredibly NICE can provide additional tips.

The hotel staff is incredibly helpful and accommodating. The rooms are a good size with comfortable large beds. The breakfast offered is marvelous. The in-house restaurant provides a great selection of delicious food.

The location was excellent, relatively near a neo classical historical garden.

Modern and reasonably clean hotel, astonishing views of the sunrise. Well-kept rooms and hypo-allergenic pillows. Best possible location for visiting restaurants and bars. A few minutes walk to commercial centers and a shopping street, in a quiet street.

The room was recently renovated and neat with comfortable beds. Very central location close to Garden of Dreams, National Presidential museum, and Thamel commercial center.

everything about my stay was awesome and staff were friendly.i like the 24 hrs cafe,which I could order food anytime.

Plenty of hot water, spacious clean room, friendly English-speaking staff. I think it is a very good hotel, I stayed twice (at the beginning and end of my vacation).

Note that there is no elevator, but this is standard in Nepal. Location is very good, although slightly at the far end of Thamel (2-3 minute walk away from center).

Peaceful great budget hotel, absolutely stunning views of the sunrise. Competent stuff, very good services, including a lot of good delicacies. Delicious breakfast, perfect location near Nepal, or North America, shops and restaurants and other important tourist locations.

I stayed at the hotel norbulinka for 1 night . the staff I found to be very helpful and friendly . on speaking with the manager who only took over the hotel in june I can say that I would definetely recommend this hotel . you would not believe that you are in kathmandu . it is situated in a quiet area of thamel . very clean and tidy .lovely to have a hot shower the only disappoint was that I had booked a suite to treat myself after a long trek and found on my arrival that it was fulfilled even though I had requested it in august . but they did find me a double bed and kindly amended the cost . lets hope next time I will end up with the suite . very good for the money

The bed was nice and comfortable. The hotel has friendly staff. The shower was excellent. Having a watercooker in the room was a nice amenity. The location is perfect, close to Thamel but in a quiet area. The hotel is well-maintained. The management is cooperative and the staff is good. The security is reliable.

This place is a great base for sightseeing and exploring the city, and they have free Wi-Fi in the rooms.
